Dating Website Header in Photoshop

Convert an Image into a Sketch in Photoshop

In this tutorial I will teach you how to convert a picture into a sketch which can be used in sketch books. Step 1: We will use the photograph below for our tutorial.

Step 2: Duplicate copy of the Background by Selecting the Duplicate Layer Option from the Layer Menu. We do this just in case any mistake is done then we do not end up ruining the original Image.

Step 3: Convert the background into layer by Layer via Copy option in the Layer Menu. We should make a copy so that if we go wrong at any point we have an image to start a fresh from.

Step 4: We will convert the photograph into grayscale by selecting the Desaturate option from the Image.

Step 5: At this point we will make another copy of the grayscale photograph.

Step 6: Convert the Image into a negative by selecting the invert option from the Image Menu as shown below.

The image will look some thing like given below.

Step 7: Now select the Color Dodge option from the Blending Mode Menu in the Layer Palette. This will make the image completely disappear.

Step 8: We will get the sketch of the image by selecting the Gaussian blur option from the Filter Menu.

Now as you will move the Radius slider in the Gaussian Blur dialog box toward the right we will see the sketch of the photograph reappear.

Night Vision Effect in Photoshop

In this tutorial I will teach you how to convert a photograph into one which you would see through a Night Vision Device.

Step 1: Open an appropriate picture in Photoshop.

Step No. 2: We will first convert the photograph into grayscale by selecting the Grayscale as shown below from the Image Menu.

Step 3: Now we will apply the Night Vision effect to our photograph by selecting the Duotone Option from the shown below Image Menu.

In the Dialog Box which appears, select Duotone in Type and then double click on the color boxes to set the colors.

Note that the color of Ink 2 should be lighter than Ink 1.I have chosen my set of colors but do not hesitate to experiment with your combinations of green.

Step 4: Select RGB color from the shown below Image Menu.

In the RGB Color Dialog Box set the three Input Levels appropriately to boost the Contrast.

Step 5: Now some noise will be added to our image to enhance the Night Vision effect.

Note: check the Monochrome check box.

Step 6: Again Select the RGB color option as done before.

Note: Again set the three input levels to darken the picture uniformly.

Step 7: Use the Burn Tool and darken the edges to give a more realistic look.

How to draw a computer monitor in Photoshop using the ellipse, rectangle and circle tool.

Step one:

Start with a large #4894CD colored canvas, in your layers window make a new layer set and name it Monitor Graphic. Choose your Ellipse Tool, in a new layer draw a 85 x 837 pixels, #B4B5B7 colored ellipse shape.

Step two:

With your step one layer add the following layer styles:

Step three:

In a new layer draw another 85 x 837 pixels, #B4B5B7 colored ellipse shape.

Step four:

With your step three layer add the following layer styles:

Step five:

Choose your rounded rectangle tool with a 4 px radius, in a new layer draw a 25 x 26 pixels, #66676B colored rounded rectangle on the middle of the ellipse shape.

With your step five layer add the following layer styles:

Now draw a 25 x 26 pixels, black rounded rectangle on top of the first rounded rectangle.

Start with a large white canvas, in your layers window make a new layer set and name it Fire Glass Text Effect. Now type your name, use font Berlin Sans FB Demi, bold, 60 pt, crisp and #A15700 for color
